SHARK FIGHTS GOES ALL IN WITH SEPTERMBER 11th CARD

More recently than not, with the development of Austrailia’s IMPACT FC, we’ve seen new places for fighters to go that don’t want to get into longer contracts with organizations like Bellator and Strikeforce, and that may be in limbo with the UFC. Texas’ Shark Fights promotion is another one of those promotions, and man, do they have an incredible card in store. Their champ, Trevor Prangley headlines the card against former UFC light heavyweight Keith Jardine in a non-title fight, as well as the second fight sense his release form the UFC in Paul Daley, as well a number other great matchups.

The company has not announced where the fights may be seen yet, but looks to by next week.

Yep, you heard it right. As many thought and speculated earlier, Jake Shields will enter the world’s top fighting organization at 170 punds instead of 185.

His opponent has yet to be determined, however, I’m looking at it now, and both Martin Kampmann and Mike Swick are without opponents at this point.

But we may be back Friday to talk Strikeforce, Dream, and more. Stay tuned.

GGB’s HW RANKINGS GOING INTO SATURDAY’S FIGHT
